Rolled African Flower

I love this flower and hope all of you do too.  It has only been made by 3 people so if you find any mistakes or have any questions please feel free to ask.  Happy hooking all and have a wonderfully blessed day!

The picture is done with 2 strands of fine yarn and a J hook. You can make it with worsted and a J, H, or I hook and use a fine yarn for the contrasting color which I did not put on this one.

Chain 33
(The more chs the bigger flower)

row1: Dc in the 4th ch from hook, ch 1, 2 dc in same ch, skip 1 chain, in next ch *2 dc, ch1, 2 dc*, across entire chain.. 15 sets. Turn

Row 2: Sl st to first ch 1 space, ch 3, 6 dc in same

space, *sl st in sp between sets, 7 dc in next ch 1 space* across. At the end sl st into the bottom ch to pull the flower petal down. Leave a long tail for sewing and cut yarn.

WIND THE FLOWER STARTING WITH THE LAST PETAL MADE BEING YOUR CENTER. USE THE TAIL YOU LEFT TO SEW TOGETHER.

WITH CONTRASTING COLOR SC OR SL ST AROUND

ENTIRE FLOWER. I WOULD PUT A SLST IN BETWEEN EACH PETAL. DONE.

THIS FLOWER IS ALMOST 6" ACROSS!
